Kaylie Stokes is an oral historian with a background in journalism and video production and editing. Kaylie graduated from New College of Florida with a degree in Social Sciences. For her thesis, she conducted oral history interviews with members of the black community who had grown up on Gasparilla Island, Florida, and discussed the nuance and importance of what is considered “History.” Kaylie has completed oral history projects for families across the United States and internationally, as well as for local governments and non-profits. When not learning more about you and your life, Kaylie likes to take her dog to the dogpark, cook, and play card games.
Cassandra is an educator and brand strategist with a background in folklore studies. She graduated from New College of Florida with a degree in Literature & Gender Studies, where her thesis focused on the feminist implications of modern fairy tales. Cassandra formerly worked for Upworthy strategizing the best ways to share stories with the world. She has deep experience with non-profits and start-up businesses alike. When she’s not listening to your stories and answering your e-mails, she likes to bake, read memoirs, and hike.
